Friday Five: Trench Style

Fall is around the corner and I cannot stop styling outfits for the cooler months. I love Summer but my drive to get dressed when it is really hot outside diminishes. I feel like I start Summer with plans of sundresses and sandals and then it quickly dissolves into elastic shorts and tank tops. Needless to say, I am very ready for cooler weather when I feel more motivated to put an outfit together. I am particularly excited for oversized sweater and loose trousers. I work from home and feeling comfortable, yet pulled together is my top priority.

Friday Five: Trench Style

Matches Fashion house brand is Raey and I really adore every piece they create. The new Fall collection is really good. I love the style of this black merino wool sweater. It is just slouchy enough without being too oversized. I imagine wearing this almost everyday this Fall and Winter with trousers, denim or lounge pants. In my fantasy world I would wear them with these Khaite trousers. The color is perfect for pairing with a t-shirt, a sweater, a sweatshirt…..Basically these pants are perfect.

A trench coat is the hardest working piece of clothing in ones closet. I finally purchased one last year and I wore it constantly. Another Tomorrow is a newer brand that I am big fan of. This trench coat has a beautiful minimalistic style that goes with everything. I imagine pairing this trench with a black slip dress, or white jeans and a black sweater.

I like to keep my everyday accessories simple. For the past year I have been wearing a pair of simple gold huggies everyday. Even on days when I wear loungewear all day I feel a bit dressed up. Since discovering the jewelry brand Kinn I have fallen in love with all her pieces. These huggies are forever pieces you will wear all the time. Finally, a baseball cap is my go-to. I am not someone who styles their hair which is why I turn to a hat almost everyday. This black hat from Rotate is simple, but elevated. All of these pieces together are my dream go-to Fall outfit.
