I saw these shorts a few weeks ago and I cannot stop thinking about them. I feel they perfectly epitomize my summer 2021 fashion goals. They are fun, yet comfortable. They stand out a bit, yet you can wear them in a way with casual pieces for everyday use. I have been really trying to only buy pieces that can be worn in quite a few different scenarios. So I decided to a quick edit of these shorts for both day use and night.

I really love the idea of pairing these shorts with a quarter zip sweatshirt. I wanted to create an outfit that I could wear out to lunch or doing errands. The silk tank from Cuyana means that you are not too casual. I’ve spent A LOT of time being very casual so a little silk and sequins during the day is fun! The addition of the backpack is perfect for feeling like this is a head out for the day ensemble.

Now, this is an outfit I can get very excited about. I would wear this shirt unbuttoned enough for the bra to show a bit. The gold sandals are my version of a fancy shoe for date night. I love an interesting clutch and this one from Keentu is perfect. The bag is handmade in South Africa from local artisans. Can I talk about Westman Atelier Lit Up Stick for a second? It is amazing. I do not wear makeup but I will put this on everyday without fail. A pair of statement earring are perfect final piece to this night out outfit.
